Bike Ride: Norris Park to Till’s Lookout/Taitua Arboretum

This short cycle ride from Hamilton’s Norris Walk Park is fun for all the family!

Leaving the CBD via separated cycle paths then back roads, the route visits Till’s Lookout, which offers extensive views back over Kirikiriroa city. Paths become more rugged as the route wends its way through an agricultural landscape before entering the forestry cover at the back of Taitua Arboretum.

This group ride is an opportunity to join other like minded people who want to explore locally by bike and haven’t had the opportunity to explore. It’s a great chance to experience the choice of cycling routes in cycling distance from Hamilton CBD.

The route is mainly on sealed paths with a couple of short, sharp inclines which can easily be walked if required. There are some gravely paths around the arboretum.
