GET INVOLVED

As a non-profit organisation the work we carry out is done by volunteers and paid for by membership fees and donations. There are lots of ways you can help our mahi—by boosting our voice or donating money or volunteering time.

Bike Waikato is an Incorporated Society that you can join as a financial member. We are also a Registered Charity, which means you can claim a tax credit on any donations above $5 in value.

many hands make light work and there is something to match everyone’s skills

We are looking for people who have these skills, or are interested in gaining some new ones:

  • Event management and event help – bike rides, expo stands, community bike events
  • Bike Valet bike parking attendants at events
  • Transport planning and design knowledge to review and respond to design elements in transport projects
  • Graphic Designers, Writers and Photographers to help get the message out that bikes are best
  • If you have any skills you would like to offer tell us about them all
