Submission: Hamilton City Council Long Term Plan 2024-2034
The Long Term Plan outlines how the Council intends to spend money for the next ten years. We made this submission to Hamilton City Council on 21 April 2024.
Our key positions:
- We support cycling and transportation as a priority.
- We do not support the reduction in funding for cycling infrastructure.
- We support the cycling bridge in principle.
- We expect the Council to continue to deliver for Hamiltonians in spite of the proposed Government Policy Statement on Land Transport.
- We need to see alignment between Council strategy and Council spending.
